the HDMI port.
If your PS5 does any of these and the cable works fine on another device, the fault is almost certainly the port on the console — not the TV, not the cable.
Console boots — blue LED, fan spins — but the TV stays completely dark. Tried a second cable, still nothing. That's the port, not the logic board.
Picture cuts in and out, or you had to drop from 4K to 1080p to get a stable image. Usually bent pins inside the port or a failing HDMI retimer chip.
Console took a bump or the HDMI cable was yanked sideways. The port is soldered directly to the motherboard — one hard jolt can crack the solder joints.
TV randomly shows no signal mid-game and the picture comes back if you wiggle the cable. The port is loose at the solder points. Gets worse over time.

How do I know it's the HDMI port and not something else?+
If the PS5 turns on — you hear the beep, the LED goes blue, the fan spins — but the TV shows no signal after you've already tested the cable on another device and the TV with another source, the fault is almost certainly the HDMI port. We verify before any work begins and diagnostics are free.
How long does HDMI port replacement take?+
Bench time is 1.5–2 hours. If you book by noon Mon–Fri, the PS5 is back with you the same evening. Later in the day or over the weekend: next workday.
What's included in the €140?+
Everything: original-spec HDMI port, labour, basic cleaning (compressed-air pass on intake and exhaust), pickup and delivery inside the metro area, 90-day warranty on the port and all solder joints. No diagnostics fee.
Can you just straighten the bent pins instead of replacing the whole port?+
We can straighten individual pins if that's all that's wrong, but bent pins usually mean the port took a knock — and a port that's been stressed once is already weakened at the solder points. Full replacement is the only permanent fix.
Do you fix PS4 HDMI ports too?+
Yes — same service for PS4, PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro. Same €140 flat rate.
Is pickup really free?+
Yes — for the Helsinki metro area (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kerava). Pickup and return delivery are included in the €140. If you're outside the metro, ship the PS5 to us via Posti — you cover the Posti fee and we ship it back.
What if the repair doesn't fix the problem?+
We test at 4K/60 and 1080p/120 before handing it back. If a fault appears within the 90-day warranty window, we fix it at no charge. We never charge if we can't reproduce the fault — diagnostics are always free.
