Is your Switch
doing any of this?
Sticks, fans and batteries are separate parts that come out and go back in. At diagnosis we check the part really is the cause before anything is ordered.
The character or cursor moves on its own. The Lite's sticks are built into the console, and the stick is replaced — the standard one, or a TMR stick, which reads position without the wearing contact a standard stick has.
A grinding fan, or a Switch that gets hot and throttles while you never hear the fan. A worn fan is replaced.
The Switch or Switch Lite empties much faster than it used to. The battery is replaced with a new one for your model.
Nintendo's repair service fixes Joy-Con stick drift free of charge in the EEA, for now. Send it to Nintendo first — it may refuse a controller someone else has opened.
Straight answer: no board-level work.
We replace parts that unplug and plug back in. We don't do board-level soldering, and we say so at diagnosis rather than after the Deck is open.

Next morning he suggested that my power supply might be faulty and that he can try his own power supply and change it to my ps5, all this free of charge. That worked, and then Andrei helped me to order a new power supply, came a third time to my place and installed the new unit. Do you fix Joy-Con drift?+
Send it to Nintendo first: for now, Nintendo's repair service fixes Joy-Con stick drift free of charge for customers in the EEA. It can refuse a controller someone else has already opened or repaired. If yours was opened before and Nintendo won't take it, ask us for a price.
Standard stick or TMR?+
Both are in the calculator. A TMR stick reads position magnetically instead of with a sliding contact, so it doesn't wear the way a standard stick does. It costs a little more.
How much does a Switch repair cost?+
It depends on the part and the model. The calculator on this page shows the exact price — the part and the work — and nothing is ordered until you agree. You pay after the repair.
Will I lose my saves?+
No. Replacing a stick, the fan or the battery does not touch the console's storage.
Do you come to my location?+
Yes. We come to your home or office in Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, and travel inside Kehä III is included. Kerava and further out: we still come, with €0.50/km on top. You can also bring the Switch to us.
Is there a warranty?+
We don't give a separate time-limited warranty: under the Consumer Protection Act we are responsible for defects in our work and in the parts we fit for as long as the repair can reasonably be expected to last. If the fault comes back, tell us and we fix it free. Details in the Terms, §7.
