WHY WE WORK AT YOUR PLACE

You don't go anywhere.

Almost every job happens on your own table. Not as a perk — it is simply the arrangement that works better for both of us.

YOUR TIME
Two trips to a shop cost most of a day. We come instead — about 2.5 hours of it stay yours.
WE DON'T RENT A SHOP
So we are not stuck in one corner of the city, and no rent lands in your bill.
DONE IN THE ONE VISIT
We work the fault out by phone or chat first, so one visit is enough.
WHAT PEOPLE ASK FOR

The jobs that
aren't repairs.

Nothing here is broken hardware. It is the stuff that sits between your devices — and it is usually one visit rather than an ongoing arrangement.

01
Wi-Fi that doesn't reach

Full signal in the living room, nothing in the bedroom. Usually the router's position, the channel it picked, or a flat that needs a second access point rather than a bigger box.

02
Files on four devices

Photos on a phone, documents on a laptop, something important on a drive in a cupboard. Network storage puts it in one place that every device can see — and that gets backed up.

03
Ads and what the kids see

Blocking at the network level covers every device in the house at once, including the ones you can't install anything on. Pi-hole does this, and it runs on hardware the size of a deck of cards.

04
"What should I buy?"

Before the money is spent, not after. What the machine is actually for, what it needs to have, and whether the one you were about to buy is the right call.

WORTH KNOWING

The quiet problems.

None of these announce themselves. They are simply true in a lot of homes until somebody looks.

01
One copy is not a backup

Photos that exist only on a phone, or only on one laptop, are one drop or one dead drive from gone. This is the single most common thing we find and the cheapest to fix.

02
Everything on one network

A smart bulb, a TV and a work laptop sharing one flat network is fine until one of them is the weak link. Separating guests and devices is a configuration change, not a purchase.

03
The operator's default settings

Most routers are used exactly as they arrived — default channel, default placement, sometimes the password still printed on the sticker underneath.

04
Nobody wrote it down

When the person who set it up is unreachable, an undocumented network is a puzzle. Ten minutes of notes is worth more than it sounds.

PROCESS

How it works.

Four steps, billed by the hour, with the estimate given before anyone sets off.

01
Tell us the problem

Where the Wi-Fi dies, what you want to store, what you are thinking of buying. Call, WhatsApp or Telegram.

5 MINUTES
02
Estimate before the visit

Most of this is one to two hours and we say which before we come. Some of it we can answer on the phone for free, and when that is the case we will say so instead of booking a visit.

AGREED UP FRONT
03
Set it up properly

Router placed and configured, access points where they actually help, storage set up and tested, blocking running on hardware that stays in your home.

04
Show you how it works

How to add a device, change a password, pause the blocking when a site needs it. Written down before we leave.

I’ve had my consoles serviced by Andrey twice now — first my PS4 Pro, and more later my PS5 Digital Edition. The results exceeded my expectations both times. The consoles work perfectly, just like brand new. Excellent quality service was available at a time that worked for me, which was a huge plus. I’m very happy with the results and will definitely be recommending this service to all my friends!

FAQ

Questions,
answered.

Couldn't find what you need? Call us — we reply in minutes.

Do you sell the hardware too?+

No, and that is deliberate. Routers, access points, drives and NAS boxes you buy yourself, at whatever they cost wherever you find them — we take no margin. What you pay us for is working out what you actually need and making it work once it arrives. That also means our advice has nothing riding on it.

Is there a monthly fee?+

No. This is hourly work — €60/h with a one-hour minimum — and when the visit is over the arrangement is over. No contract, no retainer, no remote-monitoring subscription. If something needs attention next year, call us next year.

What is Pi-hole and do I need one?+

It is a small piece of software, usually on a very cheap little computer that sits next to your router, that blocks ads and tracking for every device on your network at once — phones, TVs and consoles included, without installing anything on them. It is also the simplest way to apply content rules to a whole household. Whether you need one depends on how many devices you have and what you are trying to keep out; ask us and we will tell you honestly.

Will network storage back up my photos automatically?+

It can, and that is usually the point of putting one in. Phones and laptops copy to it on their own once set up. One thing worth being clear about: a NAS in your home protects you from a dead laptop, not from a fire or a burglary. If the photos are irreplaceable, the copy in the house wants a second copy somewhere else — we will set both up if you want them.

Can you fix my Wi-Fi without me buying anything?+

Often, yes. A lot of bad home Wi-Fi is a router hidden in a cupboard, sitting on a channel every neighbour is also using, or an operator box left exactly as it came out of the packaging. Moving and configuring it costs an hour and nothing else. When a flat genuinely needs a second access point, we will say so — but we will try the free fix first.

Can you advise before I buy a computer?+

That is one of the more common reasons people call. Tell us what it is for and roughly what you want to spend, and you get a straight answer about what matters for that use and what does not — including when the machine you already own is fine and the right move is to spend nothing.

Do you come to me?+

Yes — network work has to happen where the network is, so this is done at your home or office across Helsinki, Espoo and Vantaa, with travel included in the hourly rate. Kerava and anywhere else beyond Kehä III: we still come, with €0.50/km on top and travel for agreed work only. Buying advice on its own can be done over the phone.
