We provide on-site and workshop repair and maintenance for consumer electronics across the Greater Helsinki area:

  • ·MacBook Pro and MacBook Air — cleaning, thermal service, battery replacement, screen replacement.
  • ·Windows laptops — cleaning, thermal paste and pads, screen and battery replacement, SSD upgrades, Windows reinstall.
  • ·Gaming PCs — deep cleaning, CPU and GPU thermal service, custom builds.
  • ·Xbox Series X / S — cleaning and thermal service.
  • ·Network and IT consulting on request.

BEFORE WE START

Diagnostics & estimates

Diagnostics are always free. We assess your device at no cost and provide a fixed-price quote before any work begins. No work is carried out without your explicit approval — verbal, written or via WhatsApp/Telegram all count as approval.

If diagnostics reveal a fault that is not economical to repair, we tell you so directly. You owe nothing for the diagnostic itself — only travel costs (see §4) when we visit you on site.

WHERE WE WORK

Service area & travel

We serve the Greater Helsinki region: Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kerava and surrounding municipalities. Most maintenance work is done on site at your home or office.

HOW YOU PAY

Payment terms

Payment is due immediately upon completion of the service. We accept:

  • ·Bank transfer (Finnish IBAN, instant payments accepted).
  • ·MobilePay.
  • ·Cash.
  • ·Card payment by request — please mention this when booking.

For repairs that require special-order parts, we may request a deposit covering the cost of those parts before they are ordered. The deposit is fully credited toward the final invoice.

IMPORTANT

Cancellation fee for cleaning bookings

SHORT VERSION
Cancel less than 24 h before your visit, or no-show — we charge 50% of the booked service price.
Cancellations made earlier than 24 h are free. This policy covers reserved time and travel preparation.

Our cleaning and maintenance appointments are booked into fixed time slots. When you confirm a slot, we block that time exclusively for you and prepare the route, parts and tools required for your device.

If a confirmed cleaning booking is cancelled less than 24 hours before the agreed start time, or you are not present at the agreed location, a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the booked service price applies. The fee is invoiced separately and due within 14 days.

The cancellation fee does not apply to repair quotes that are declined before any parts have been ordered, nor to bookings rescheduled at our initiative.

OUR PROMISE

Warranty coverage

All repair labour carries a 90-day warranty from the date of service. If the same fault recurs within that period, we re-do the work at no charge.

Replacement parts carry the statutory 2-year minimum guarantee required by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act and EU consumer-rights legislation. Manufacturer warranties on new components apply in addition.

The warranty does not cover:

  • ·Damage caused by misuse, accidents, liquid spills or unauthorised modifications after our service.
  • ·Faults in components we did not service or supply.
  • ·Wear-and-tear of consumable parts (thermal paste degradation after the warranty period, batteries below their cycle limit, etc.).
  • ·Issues caused by software or firmware updates released by the device manufacturer.

YOUR RIGHTS

Consumer cancellation rights

Under EU directive 2011/83/EU, you have the right to cancel a service agreement within 14 days of booking, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, contact us by email or phone before the service has been completed.

If work has already begun, you owe payment for the portion completed up to the point of cancellation. Once the service is fully delivered, the 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies — you have explicitly requested completion.

The 50% short-notice cancellation fee in §6 covers a different situation (reserved time slots) and applies separately to the statutory 14-day right.

LIMITS

Liability limitations

Our liability for any single claim is limited to the cost of the service in question. We do not cover indirect or consequential damages — for example, lost game progress, lost business income, or replacement-device rental costs.

Back up your data before any service. We recommend a full backup before handing the device over. We are not responsible for data loss except in cases of proven negligence on our part. For Windows reinstall service, we always verify your backup before touching the operating system.

PRIVACY

Data protection & cookies

What we collect from you directly. When you contact us or book a repair, we process the personal data you give us — name, address, phone, email, device details — solely to deliver the service and meet our legal obligations (invoicing, warranty records, statutory bookkeeping). Data is stored in the EU and handled in line with GDPR.

What this website measures. The site loads two Google services to understand how it's used and how well our ads perform: Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-LDV179HTLQ) and Google Ads (conversion ID AW-16614247336). When tracking is active, these scripts may set cookies on your browser, send page views to Google's servers, and report when a visitor clicks Call, WhatsApp, Telegram or another contact link. We use this only in aggregate to decide which pages and ads are worth our time.

Consent — your choice is real. The first time you visit, a banner asks whether to allow these cookies. Until you decide, both Google scripts are loaded with Consent Mode set to denied — Google does not write cookies and only sends anonymous, cookie-less pings. If you click Decline, we go further: we set Google's official kill-switch (window['ga-disable-G-LDV179HTLQ'] and the same for the Ads ID) so the SDK stops sending any requests at all, and we delete any cookies starting with _ga, _gid, _gat, _gcl or _uet from your browser. If you click Accept, we update consent to granted for analytics and ads. Your decision is stored in your browser's localStorage under the key mopsi_cookies_accepted (value true or false). Clear that key at any time to be asked again.

Things this site does NOT use. No Meta/Facebook Pixel. No TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat or Yandex pixels. No Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Mixpanel, Amplitude, PostHog, Plausible or Fathom. No remarketing audiences beyond the basic Google Ads conversion tag described above. We don't sell your data and we don't share it with anyone outside the GDPR-bound processors needed to run the site (Google for analytics/ads, our hosting provider, our payment processor). On localhost and 127.0.0.1 all tracking is hard-disabled regardless of consent.

Your rights. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing info@mopsihuolto.fi. Bookkeeping records that we are legally required to retain (typically six years) cannot be deleted on request. You can also lodge a complaint with the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).

JURISDICTION

Applicable law & disputes

These terms are governed by Finnish law and comply with EU consumer-protection legislation. Disputes are resolved primarily by direct negotiation.

If we cannot reach an agreement, you have the right to refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta, kuluttajariita.fi) or to the District Court of Helsinki.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your service is the version published on this page on the date you confirmed the booking. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page.
